The Commercial Vehicle Show 2017

The Commercial Vehicle Show takes place at the NEC Birmingham from April 25-27th and provides the ultimate showcase for products and services in the sector.

Attracting close to 21,000 business visitors, the CV show is the perfect place for operators to meet and suppliers to showcase their products and services. So what can you expect?

Firstly, BT Fleet will be showcasing its technology and innovation at the Show. From smart phone apps to online portal enhancements, plus their exciting Connected Vehicle solution there is plenty to take away from a visit to their stand.

Henry Brace, managing director of BT Fleet, said: “The CV Show is one of the most important events on the operational fleet calendar and a valuable opportunity for us to meet with customers and prospects to demonstrate and discuss all that’s new within BT Fleet. Our ambition is to deliver innovation through technology that helps our customers turn operational challenge into competitive advantage."

Hubio Fleet will also be exhibiting at this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show with telematics experts on hand to talk to fleet managers about safer and more efficient ways to monitor their drivers.

Managing Director, Richard Allen of Skilled Labour Services commented, “What I really like about Hubio Fleet is being able to see the whereabouts of the total fleet at a glance. I can cross check each van’s total mileage and fuel bill. Hubio Fleet has also let me monitor out of hours use of the vans, so right away we can see which of our drivers are using them for private mileage.”

Parksafe Automotive will also be unveiling their new HD and 3G video recording systems. This gives customers the choice of either a four or eight channel camera system, which enables users to park in their desired position knowing that all blind spots will be covered.

Last but not least, and making its first public appearance in the UK, is the new Crafter from Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.

Economical, functional and reliable, the Crafter is extremely fuel efficient on long trips and urban traffic as well as being packed full of safety technology similar to those found in the Transporter.

Rob Skelton, the CV Show director says: “With advanced telematics, emissions technology and safety systems chief among them, the show offers a great opportunity to see these technological advances first hand, from companies both small and large.”
